Freelance Site Supervisor / Manager - External Works / Civils
Sunderland
Full Time Monday to Thursday 7:30-5:30 Fridays 07:30-3:30
6-month Duration
Rate is 24 - 28 per hour depending on experience

We are working on behalf of a successful civil engineering contractor who are seeing great success in expanding their workload and pipeline in the Northeast,

With a further project win in Sunderland, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the External Works package on a new build development.

Key Responsibilities
Management of the External Works Packege right through to completion.
Coordinate with stakeholders, and Principal Contractor for seamless project execution.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
Conduct tool box talks & issue permits
Oversee Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality standards.
Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving on-site.
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a Supervisor or Manager with Civil Engineering and Groundworks Sub Contractors on new build developments, specifically external works.
Groundworks or Civil Engineering experience
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team to ensure deadlines are met.

Remuneration
This is a freelance position and you will be engaged through Search Consultancy for the duration of the project.
The rate is negotiable depending on experience ; 24- 28 an hour
