We would like to welcome you to join our dynamic Congenital Cardiac Coordinating team here at UHS. We're looking for a Cardiac Administrator to support the team with administrative duties, while delivering care to a wide population of Congenital cardiac patients.

Our team are based in the cardiac Admin department, working Monday- Friday 0800-1600 delivering a wide range of services that maintain and support the delivery of care to patients under the Congenital Cardiac service. The team cover a variety of roles that are split into two parts. Maintaining and developing the Paediatric Cardiac surgical and catheter waiting lists and the data management for NHS England that informs our national standing and funding as a service.

The role is pivotal within the cardiac programme to ensure patients are prioritised and treated in a timely manner.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You'll be supported to maintain and develop the surgical and catheter waiting list spread sheets. Use a variety of applications such as eCamis to register patients, upload and action referrals, create patient pathways, process and validate electronic to come in cards and more. You'll be expected to keep clinicians waiting list up to date to allow for accurate date extraction for NHS England that reflects a true picture of our waiting lists. We will train and support you to manage and develop the Enhanced Harm Review program that has been instated within the department. You'll be trained to take on aspects of recording and reporting data collection for the Cardiac team
