YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU?LL DO
The post will provide training and experience in specialised clinical oncology including external beam radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other systemic therapies.� The post supports our established regional advanced radiotherapy services including cranial stereotactic radiotherapy.� The post-holder will contribute to the radiotherapy planning, peer review and on-treatment review for these services.
The majority of your time will be spent working with our site-specialist clinical oncology multidisciplinary teams in the outpatient and radiotherapy departments, but you will contribute to the senior support and coordination of specialist inpatient care.� There is no out of hours or on-call rota commitment.�
WHAT WE?RE LOOKING FOR
A doctor appointed to this grade:
- Shall have full registration and Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council; and
- Shall have completed a minimum of 12 years? medical work (either continuous period or in aggregate) since obtaining a primary medical qualification of which a minimum of six years should have been in a relevant specialty in the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades. Equivalent years? experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades including from overseas will be accepted.

The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service� Specialist ? England (2021)
Salary will be assessed in line with terms and conditions �83,945 ? �95,275
Travelling expenses will not be paid for attending interview
