About the Role:
Knauf is seeking a passionate, experienced, and reliable Trade Store Manager to join our ambitious team. This role will be based in Rockhampton, QLD.
Reporting to the General Manager - Central QLD, this role is responsible for ensuring the efficient management and development of a major trade store and personnel in accordance with the company’s strategic plans, values, operating budgets, and policies.
Role responsibilities:
Maintain and builds relationships between Knauf and its customers by demonstrating unwavering commitment to customer service
Provide leadership and management of trade store personnel
Establish and maintain a productive, co-operative team environment where customer service is paramount and sales KPI’s are achieved
Ensure financial compliance and due diligence on site
Management systems are completed within the agreed scheduled timeframes
Effectively manage trade store profit & loss whilst implementing strategies to effect change where required
Full responsibility for managing sites inventory
Provide Management with industry relevant market intelligence
Effectively manage sales and promotional activities at trade store.
Manage transport resources to ensure a safe and efficient delivery service
Candidate requirements
Able to work in high demand and busy / pressured work environments
Builds and sustains positive relationship with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
Demonstrates leadership
Ability to prioritize demands between both internal and external customers and other stakeholders
Identifies development opportunities for self and team
Has excellent communication skills
Responds to demands quickly and efficiently
Background or experience in sales, distribution, or customer service.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT relevant applications
High level negotiation skills
Competent in project management or willing to learn
Forklift License (preferred but not essential and must be willing to obtain one)
