About the Role:

Knauf is seeking a passionate, experienced, and reliable Trade Store Manager to join our ambitious team. This role will be based in Rockhampton, QLD.

Reporting to the General Manager - Central QLD,�this role is responsible for ensuring the efficient management and development of a major trade store and personnel in accordance with the company?s strategic plans, values, operating budgets, and policies.

Role responsibilities:

  • Maintain and builds relationships between Knauf and its customers by demonstrating unwavering commitment to customer service
  • Provide leadership and management of trade store personnel
  • Establish and maintain a productive, co-operative team environment where customer service is paramount and sales KPI?s are achieved
  • Ensure financial compliance and due diligence on site
  • Management systems are completed within the agreed scheduled timeframes
  • Effectively manage trade store profit & loss whilst implementing strategies to effect change where required
  • Full responsibility for managing sites inventory
  • Provide Management with industry relevant market intelligence
  • Effectively manage sales and promotional activities at trade store.
  • Manage transport resources to ensure a safe and efficient delivery service

  • Able to work in high demand and busy / pressured work environments
  • Builds and sustains positive relationship with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrates leadership
  • Ability to prioritize demands between both internal and external customers and other stakeholders
  • Identifies development opportunities for self and team
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Responds to demands quickly and efficiently
  • Background or experience in sales, distribution, or customer service.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT relevant applications
  • High level negotiation skills
  • Competent in project management or willing to learn
  • Forklift License (preferred but not essential and must be willing to obtain one)
