Salary:�MPS - UPS�- �30,000 - �46,525 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern:�This is a part-time, permanent position working 0.5 FTE, 39�weeks per year

We are looking for a hard-working person to join our wonderful team to undertake the role of English Teacher at Pilton Community College ? a truly inclusive school.

You will:

  • Teach English across the age and ability range in accordance with the requirements of a professionally qualified teacher
  • Adapt and deliver lessons to students according to their educational needs and with reference to prior attainment and SEND as required
  • Set high expectations for all students
  • Embrace the continued professional development programme within the school, striving to be a lifelong learner, maximising opportunities to make impact within the role

Pilton Community College is a school with an ambitious common curriculum. We have a centralised behaviour system and are focused on reducing teacher workload. We believe in the power of responsive coaching; every teacher is coached fortnightly. Our mission is to empower our students with a passion for reading and the written word.
